ROTTERDAM, Netherlands--St. Maarten Medical Center will be among more than 35 companies and organizations taking part in the FRED Job Fair & Conference 2026 in Rotterdam, giving professionals and job seekers in the Netherlands an opportunity to explore employment possibilities in St. Maarten and across the other participating islands.
The 11th edition of FRED will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at the World Trade Center Rotterdam from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The event is aimed at students, young professionals and experienced workers who are considering career opportunities in Aruba, Bonaire, Curaçao, Saba, St. Eustatius and St. Maarten.
For St. Maarten, the participation of St. Maarten Medical Center places one of the country’s major employers directly in front of potential recruits who may be considering a move to the island or a return home. The event gives participants an opportunity to meet employers, ask questions about available career paths and learn more about professional opportunities across the participating islands.
Other participating organizations include Curaçao Medical Center, CMC Vastgoed, MCB Group, Curoil, FCCA, Aruba Ports Authority, Dutch Caribbean Air Navigation Service Provider N.V. and Openbaar Lichaam Bonaire, among others.
Employers and professionals from a range of sectors will be represented, including finance, information technology, hospitality, legal services, health and wellness and public service. The event will also feature the FRED Conference, with speakers, free workshops and presentations focused on career development and professional opportunities.
FRED serves as a platform connecting employers from the islands with students and professionals in the Netherlands who are looking for new career opportunities. For people with ties to St. Maarten, or those considering working on the island, the event offers direct access to employers and information about possible career moves.
The FRED Job Fair & Conference is free and open to the public. It will take place on Saturday, October 24, at the World Trade Center Rotterdam from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Registration is available through the FRED website.
