PHILIPSBURG, Sint Maarten — On Monday January 4th the father of the deceased seven months old baby boy with initials A.H. who died on Sunday January 3rd at the Sint Maarten Medical Center of wounds he sustained during a vicious attack by an American Bulldog at the home of his grandparents, filed an official complaint of negligence against the child’s grandparents who at the time was taking care of the child.

The investigation is still ongoing and witnesses are being questioned. No one has been arrested thus far in this case.

The body of the child has been released to the family for burial. When all witnesses have been questioned and other reports have been turned in the Public Prosecutors Office will review the case and decide what further steps will be taken.

As more information becomes available the media will be informed.
