THE BOTTOM, Saba – On December 14th, the Caribbean Netherlands Guardianship Council officially said farewell to Ms. Anastacia Simmons during a reception at Island Flavour Restaurant in The Bottom.

Important chain partners were also present to bid farewell to Ms. Simmons. After more than 37 years working at the Guardianship Council Anastacia has officially ended her career, she is retiring. Well deserved!

Anastacia Simmons has known all developments in the organization over the past 37 years. She has experienced all kinds of seasons but she continued to work tirelessly, stand up for the rights of children on Saba that was her passion.

Her entire team from St Eustatius and Bonaire travelled to Saba to spend her last working day with her. Together with her whole family, the Island Governor of Saba and chain partners, we bid Anastacia farewell.

Symbolically, she has handed over the keys to the office of the Guardianship Council on Saba to her successor, Mrs. N. Edwards.

The Guardianship Council CN wishes Anastacia all the best in the new season of her life.
