PHILIPSBURG, Sint Maarten – The Permanent Committee of Kingdom Affairs and Inter-parliamentary Relations (CKAIR) will meet on November 12th in two sessions.

The CKAIR Committee will have its first meeting on Thursday, starting at 2.00pmfollowed by its second meeting at 2.30pm in the General Assembly Chamber of the House at Wilhelmina Straat #1 in Philipsburg.

The first meeting’s agenda is the appointment of the Chairperson and Vice Chairperson.

The second committee meeting’s four point agenda are: approval of the decision list Parliamentary Year 2015-2016, no 1; incoming documents CKAIR; proposals for agenda points for Inter-parliamentary Kingdom Consultation (IPKO) 2016; preparations for IPKO and Tripartite January 2016.

Members of the public are invited to the House of Parliament to attend parliamentary deliberations.

The House of Parliament is located across from the Court House in Philipsburg.

The parliamentary session will be carried live on St. Maarten Cable TV Channel 120, via Pearl Radio FM 98.1, the audio via the Internet www.pearlfmradio.com and viawww.sxmparliament.org.
