Pond Island – Due to popular demand, TelEm Group is once again lighting up Pond Island for the Christmas season by decking out it’s main building in festive Christmas colours and lights.

The building, situated on the Great Salt Pond, opposite the Main Post Office Building, will once again be magically transformed into a spectacular sight from dusk when the lights automatically come on until dawn when they go out.

Workmen have been busy for the past two weeks replacing spent bulbs and hanging up hundreds of strings of lights all around the building.

The first tests were carried out over the weekend and the “Pond Island light show” should begin within the next couple of days.

TelEm Group management says positive response from the public and reports that visitors to the island have been using the lighted up TelEm Group building as a backdrop for their Christmas photos and postcards made the decision to decorate the building once again, an easy one.

The company is encouraging others to follow suit and show their festive colours for another fabulous Christmas season.
