Nemtsov herdacht in Moskou

MOsKOU – In de Russische hoofdstad Moskou hebben zaterdag duizenden Russen meegelopen in een mars ter herdenking van Boris Nemtsov. De oppositieleider werd een jaar geleden doodgeschoten op een brug vlakbij het Kremlin.

Onder de deelnemers aan de mars waren de activist en Kremlincriticus Alexej Navalni en zangeres Maria Alechina van punkband Pussy Riot. De mars mocht van de autoriteiten niet langs de plek waar Nemtsov in zijn rug werd geschoten. Daar waren wel veel bloemen neergelegd. Nemtsov was vice-premier in de hervormingsgezinde regering van Boris Jeltsin. Na zijn vertrek in 1998 koos Nemtsov een kritische koers, met name tegen de regering van Vladimir Poetin.(Telegraaf)…[+]
