PHILIPSBURG:--- NV GEBE announced today that its newest Diesel Generator (Engine 20) will be transported by Wartsila to its final destination at the Production Plant at 2am (Wednesday morning). This exciting happening will be witnessed by Managing Board Mr. Kenrick Chittick and Ms. Iris Arrindell and other personnel of GEBE. The transport of this newest engine will be videotaped and published on the company’s Facebook page for further viewing. NV GEBE is asking all drivers (those coming from work and heading to work) to be careful on the road as this transport will take some time to be completed.
The transport route is as follows:
Harbor, Pondfill Road, right onto AT Illidge Road, left at the roundabout at Eddy’s Auto unto Zagersgut Road, right onto Bush Road, right at the roundabout Le Grand Marche, Cay Hill to Cole Bay, right at the roundabout to Welfare Road and into Cay Bay.
We hereby inform persons living on the route should any overhead lines obstruct the transporting of the engine, these overhead lines will be disconnected temporally until the engine has passed.
