PHILIPSBURG:--- Notorious criminal and former police officer Rogilio Gregory Koeiman was arrested for the third time based on an international warrant from the USA for drug-related charges in that country. Koeiman was arrested on Tuesday morning after the Prosecutor’s Office on St. Maarten received the decision rendered by the Supreme Court of the Netherlands. The first arrest was made in Curacao but somehow Koeiman and his lawyers managed to get the court on his side and not to grant the USA their wishes in the extradition request.
Koeiman was also arrested on St. Maarten based on the same request and the outcome back then had remained the same.
However, the case reached the Supreme Court who ruled in favor of the USA. Shortly after the decision was sent to St. Maarten Koeiman was arrested.

R.G.K. arrested in connection with extradition to the US
R.G.K. (48) was arrested on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 by members of the St. Maarten Police Force, KPSM near his house in Simpson Bay. The arrest is in connection with a decision of the Supreme Court in The Hague, The Netherlands of Tuesday, November 15, 2016 in which it has been decided that R.G.K. can be extradited to the United States of America, where he is wanted for drug-related charges.

R.G.K. (48) is op dinsdagochtend 15 november, 2016 aangehouden in de nabijheid van zijn huis in Simpson Bay door leden van het Korps Politie St. Maarten (KPSM). De aanhouding is in verband met een arrest van de Hoge Raad in Den Haag dat op Dinsdag 15 november heeft besloten dat R,G.K. mag worden uitgeleverd aan de Verenigde Staten waar hij wordt verdacht van drugs-gerelateerde feiten.
