PHILIPSBURG:--- On Wednesday evening, August 31, 2016, the Electoral Council held a very informative information session on the registration of donations received with the newly registered political parties and their candidates at the University of St. Martin.
The Electoral Council now invites all political parties currently represented in parliament and their candidates, especially the new candidates, as well as the general public and the business community to attend this very important session on donations on Monday, September 5, 2016 at the University of St. Martin.
It is crucial that donors, candidates and political parties are aware of the provisions laid down in the National Ordinance on Registration and Finances of Political Parties and the necessity of the proper and strict adherence thereto.
The information session is scheduled to take place on Monday, September 5, 2016 at 5:30 p.m. at the University of St. Martin, room 202.
