PHILIPSBURG:--- GEBE has announced that there is an island wide power outage and that the power plant is busy assessing the cause of the sudden outage around 2:00pm. Already the company managed to get the Bel Air section back online as it is the area that has to provide electricity to the St. Maarten Medical Center (SMMC). As soon as more information on the current outage is available SMN News will update.
