GREAT BAY (DCOMM):--- Ministry of Public Housing, Environment, Spatial Development and Infrastructure (Ministry VROMI), announces that there will be a road closure of Kerkstraat in Philipsburg on 20 November from 8.00pm to 5am.

This road closure is in connection with milling and patching existing potholes. The section of the road that will be closed is from the Vlaun Building to the former Paper Garden building.

On 21 November the aforementioned road will be closed again between the same time. Road works will be carried out by Windward Roads.

There will be a traffic detour. To reach Cannegieter street and or Walter Nisbeth road coming from Great Bay Hotel: There will be no through traffic onto Kerkhoff Steeg.

Motorists will have to utilize Praktizijn Steeg - crossing Back Street onto Manzanilla Steeg - unto Cannegieter- or continue straight ahead on the continuation of Manzanilla Steeg unto Walter Nisbeth road.
Motorists coming from Prince Bernard Bridge, there will be no through traffic to reach Front Street.

Motorists and pedestrians in the area should pay keen attention when commuting as heavy equipment will be in use. Pay attention to traffic diversion signs and workmen who will be present to help direct the flow of traffic.
Ministry VROMI apologizes for any inconveniences this may cause.
