St. Maarten News – The Rotary Club of St. Maarten Mid-Isle presented to the Interact Club they sponsor at the Caribbean International Academy (CIA) which was established on October 1, 2015 with the banner, bell and gavel. They also sponsor the Interact Club at St. Dominic’s High School.

Interact Clubs are for young people ages 12-18 who want to join together to tackle issues in their community that they care most about. Through Interact, they can carry out hands-on service projects, make international connections and develop leadership skills besides having fun. Service projects are an effective way for Interactors to take action at home and abroad, and to connect with other young leaders.

Every Interact Club carries out two service projects a year: one that helps their school or community and one that promotes International understanding.
