Kimsha Beach St Maarten —The controversy between businessman Julian Rollocks and Dino Arrundell seems to be over for now with Arrundell acquiring his own hut that arrived at Kim Sha Beach last week. Arrundell received a letter from Rollocks advising him that the lease agreement for his Tiki hut will end on April 1, took the initiative and had his own hut built. Rollocks says that Arrundell has failed to pay his rent in full.

The hut that arrived at Kim Sha Beach was set on blocks and has no concrete under it. Arrundell received an order from the Vromi-Ministry to remove the concrete he had poured to keep the establishment clean. Part of the concrete has since been removed.

Rollocks who later learned about the notice had his attorney write to Arrundell advising him that the concrete that he had placed there was in conflict with their agreement. Arrundell poured the concrete to offer more comfort to his clients.

Earlier this week Vromi-inspectors visited the Tiki hut and advised Arrundell that he was in violation of the permit for vending and that he should remove the concrete.
