PHILIPSBURG, Sint Maarten – a serious traffic accident took place around 12:20 am early Saturday (October 19) Morning on the Walter Nisbeth road (Pond Fill road) when the driver of a dark blue Honda Civic lost control of his vehicle and slammed into the Surinamese food truck.
According to a eyewitness the driver of the Honda Civic was moving on the Pond Fill road when he over take him and lost control of his vehicle. The diver was wearing his seatbelt the moment the accident took place.
The driver condition is serious and according to a close family member who confirms our newsroom that the driver is in stable but still in critical condition. He will be send out by air ambulance at any time for further medical treatment.
