>Suspect transported to hospital
PHILIPSBURG>, Sint Maarten — Suspect J.G. (42) was transported on Friday evening to the hospital in Philipsburg. This on advice by his doctor. This morning he was transported for further medical investigation to the hospital on the French side of Sint Maarten.
The Public Prosecutor’s Office, due to confidenciality, will not comment on his medical condition.
No further information is available at this time.
The Public Prosecutor’s Office confirms that he was visited earlier this week by the Probation Services and his doctor.
Police officer J.G. is at this moment a suspect in the Whale-investigation suspected of bribery, forgery, and breach of confidentiality.
The suspect remains in pre-trial detention.
