HEALTH – JUSTICE / Fake diploma case: Dr. Tchero officially banned from practicing his specialty in France | FAXINFO

The axe has fallen. By ministerial decree published this Thursday, December 18th in the Official Journal, by Dr. Huidi Tchero, orthopedic surgeon and traumatologist, is officially removed from the list of practitioners authorized to practice this specialty in France. A decision that marks a major turning point in the so-called “fake diploma” case.

Signed on November 24, 2025 by the Minister of HealthThe decree withdraws the ministerial authorization granted to the practitioner in 2013, pursuant to Article L.4111-2 of the Public Health CodeThe text relies in particular on a Official letter from Gamal Abdel Nasser University of Conakry (Guinea), dated September 16, 2025, establishing that The surgical specialty diploma presented by the doctor is a fake document..
While the state diploma of doctor of medicine is recognized as authentic, the Guinean university has formally denied the existence of the diploma of specialized studies in orthopedic surgery on the date indicated.
This national ban confirms and firmly establishes the precautionary suspension decided last October by the management of Louis Constant Fleming Hospital, where Dr. Tchero had practiced for over ten yearsAt this stage of the investigation, Dr. Huidi Tchero, 48, remains presumed innocent. However, the ministerial decree, now legally binding, constitutes a strong and rare measure that underscores the seriousness of the alleged offenses and puts an end to any possibility of him practicing his specialty in France, regardless of the institution.
