The 64-year-old is well acquainted with overseas realities. Before taking up the post of Prefect of Drôme, he was successively Secretary General of the Prefecture in Guyana (2007-2009), Secretary General for Regional Affairs in Reunion (2011-2015), and Prefect of Saint Pierre and Miquelon in 2018. A profile that combines technical expertise and field experience, appreciated in territories with multiple challenges.
In Drôme, where he has held the position of prefect since 2023, he has recently distinguished himself through his commitment to issues of Water Management.
