VISITOR STREET INTERVIEWS: What is the atmosphere like during this first evening of the Grand-Case Tuesdays? | FAXINFO

Last Tuesday, the Grand-Case boulevard had the feel of an open-air festival. On every corner, live bands played iconic songs, and each stall whetted the appetite, tempting you to quench your thirst or indulge in the wonders of Saint-Martin’s handicrafts. But who better than you,

To describe the atmosphere of that first evening?

Emilie:
“The atmosphere is fantastic, everyone is smiling, people are dancing in the street, the parade was really great. For a first evening, I think it’s very lively, there are as many people as they wanted, so it’s great! The first time I was here was three years ago, so it brought back memories, it’s really nice. I wouldn’t change a thing, I think there’s a really good atmosphere, but I just would have liked to see the parade better, because there were a lot of people in front of it.”

Valencia:
“I think it’s great, there are lots of people, it’s nice, it’s peaceful. There’s music, a great atmosphere, everyone’s dancing, so it’s a really good vibe. It’s not my first time here, but let’s say it’s been two or three years since I last came, because there’s a lot of traffic, and the problem of finding parking… But since we had to play with my band, I came. I don’t know if I’ll come back another night.”

Pauline:
“I love it, I’m a huge fan! It’s my first time at the Grand-Case Tuesdays, and I think the atmosphere is fantastic! The stalls are amazing, the food and drinks are great, the people are cool, and the dancers are exceptional. I especially loved the stalls: there’s one where they sell small, very colorful earrings with large gold flowers, and another where the exhibitor carves landscapes out of wood—I thought it was magnificent!”

Eraldi:
“I like it, I think it’s great. I like the costumes, they’re really beautiful. I haven’t tasted the food yet, but I think it’s all going to be good. I don’t usually come, but I think it’s good, this way everyone can share moments together. I’ve never had the time to come before, but this time I thought, ‘Hey, I’ll go,’ because the first night is always packed, there are more things to buy.”
