At the end of the second group of tests, the success rate for the 2025 baccalaureate in Saint-Martin stood at 83,4%, a figure slightly lower than in 2024. Of the 357 new baccalaureate holders, 156 obtained a distinction, or just under half of those admitted.
The general stream is seeing results improve, with an excellent success rate of 97,7%, up 3,5 points year-on-year. More than half of the 128 successful candidates received a distinction, including 8,6% with a very good distinction. However, the technological stream saw a marked decline, with 87,6% passing, nine points less than the previous year. Performance nevertheless remains high in certain specialties, such as ST2S (health and social sciences and technologies), which has a 100% success rate.
The situation is more worrying in the vocational stream, where the admission rate peaks at 70,7%, with significant disparities between the streams: 62,5% for manufacturing, compared to 78,1% for services. The majority of students who pass the vocational baccalaureate do so without distinction.
National patent diploma (DNB)
The 2025 session of the Diplôme national du brevet (National Brevet Diploma) shows a success rate of 61,9% in Saint-Martin, down nearly eight points from 2024. Of the 340 middle school students admitted, 299 are in the general series, with a success rate of 69,2% and more than 70% of honors awarded. On the other hand, the vocational series has seen a marked decline: only 35% of candidates obtained their diploma, compared to 57,1% last year. Despite this decline, the results highlight the students' efforts and the need for increased support to help them reach this essential milestone in their academic career. Congratulations to all!
