Le Motorworld group officially launched the GAC brand au Suriname, now 18th territory covered by the brand in the Caribbean. Exclusive distribution is handled by Fernandes Autohandel, local partner, during an event organized on February 13th in its showroom at the P&D complex.
The guests discovered several flagship models from the range The GS3 Emzoom, Emkoo, and GS8 SUVs, as well as the all-electric AION V, were showcased. The combination of modern design, advanced technology, and meticulous finishing, which positions GAC among the world’s leading automakers, was highlighted to appeal to the Surinamese market. Customers will also benefit from… regional spare parts center based in Panamaguaranteeing a rapid supply of original parts and a structured after-sales service.
Tariq Amjad, president of the Motorworld group, welcomed this partnership with Fernandes Autohandel, emphasizing that GAC vehicles come with a eight-year warranty and embody “the future of automotive design, technology and performance”.
Following Barbados and Grenada in 2025, the launch of GAC in Suriname is the first in a series of deployments planned in the Caribbean in 2026marking an important step in Motorworld’s vision to enhance the automotive experience across the region.
