Having taken up her post in Saint-Martin on July 1st, the new Vice-Rector, Nicole Noilhetas, chose the Daniella Jeffry vocational high school for her first visit to an educational institution on the island. Following the graduation ceremony, she shared her impressions of this initial experience with us:

“I was a teacher in a vocational high school, then an inspector, also in a vocational high school. It was a conscious choice for me to work with these very deserving young people. Vocational high schools aren't always given the best treatment, but they offer pathways to success and excellence, as we saw today. I'm very, very happy to begin my work in a vocational high school, to see all these young people and their families being honored today. The atmosphere is very warm, there are many emotions, it's a wonderful welcome! The people are very kind, so I'm here with pleasure and I'm very happy to be here.”
