The Saint-Martin Executive Council approved in early July the allocation of a €144.000 grant to the Territorial Olympic and Sports Committee of Saint-Barthélemy and Saint-Martin (CTOS-SBSM). This decision is accompanied by the validation of an objectives and means agreement, which the president of the Collectivité is now authorized to sign for the current year.

Created in September 2023 with the support of the Center for Excellence and Education through Sport (CEES), the CTOS-SBSM has established itself as an essential body in local sporting life. With a new executive office chaired by Aurélie Soucy and managed by Peggy Oulerich, the CTOS-SBSM has, among other things, the missions of bringing the principles of Olympism to life in the two territories, promoting social diversity, equality in sport, supporting athletes, and maintaining constructive cooperation with State services.
