The Sint Maarten police (KPSM) announced the arrest of four individuals suspected of being involved in a A series of armed robberies targeting jewelry stores of the island, particularly in busy tourist areas. These arrests are part of a vast operation conducted after several weeks of in-depth investigations.
The suspects, identified as JRS, SAKG, RAJ and RPP, were arrested between Wednesday 10 and Friday 12 December, following…coordinated actions conducted by the police. All are currently in custody and being questioned by the criminal investigation unit to determine their level of involvement in these attacks.
While the investigation is still ongoing, Further arrests are expected. In the coming days and weeks, investigators will actively pursue suspects still at large and all leads related to these criminal acts.
