The Guadeloupe Regional Dance Federation (FRDG) is organizing this Thursday, February 12th, starting at 8:30 am, the 3th edition of Inter-Caribbean Dance Competition au Chapel Theatre, at Orient Bay.
Open to amateur and pre-professional dancers aged 8 and up, this free competition aims to be a a space for artistic expression and the discovery of emerging talentsThe participants, around twenty including several local talents, will compete in various stylesFrom classical to contemporary, including jazz and other modern influences, the event illustrates the richness and diversity of the Caribbean dance scene. Beyond the competition, this event aims to be a springboard to professional careers. American juryRepresentatives from several renowned dance schools in the United States will be present to evaluate performances and identify new talent.
