EMPLOYMENT / France Travail: the prefect meets young people being monitored by CEJ | FAXINFO

On Wednesday, October 15, Prefect Cyrille Le Vély visited the agency France Work of Concordia in order to exchange with the teams and young beneficiaries of the Youth Engagement Contract (CEJ).

Welcomed by Richard Boone, territorial director of France Travail, and Keezy Pierre-Justin, director of the local agency, the State representative was able to note the mobilization of agents in their support missions, business advice and monitoring of job seekers.

The prefect attended a workshop entitled “Convincing in a job interview”, led by Claire Friolet, France Travail advisor. The exercise, both interactive and practical, allows young people to learn how to present themselves, promote their skills and build their self-confidence. Around the table, several participants have already landed a job or started recruitment processes..

As the agency's management pointed out, France Travail works every day to bring young people closer to the professional world, working closely with local businesses and institutional partners. The CEJ, the flagship program of this policy, offers personalized and intensive support to those under 26, with a clear objective: to promote a rapid and sustainable return to employment or training.

This visit is part of the ongoing actions carried out by the State to support the professional integration of young people in Saint-Martin. Through the partnership between France Travail, the Collectivité, businesses, and associations, an entire network is mobilizing to transform fragile career paths into real projects for the future.
