
The five finalists of EDF Pulse Antilles-Guyane Prize are now known. This competition, intended for encourage local innovations in support of the energy transitionFocusing on sustainability and improving user service, the program highlights projects led by entrepreneurs committed to their local communities. All of these projects stand out for their concrete solutions aimed at strengthening safety, quality of life at work, and energy efficiency.
The projects of Alpha Développement Guadeloupe, Leila (French Guiana), Securis and Noula (Réunion) are based on digital tools, mobile solutions ou artificial intelligence to optimize risk prevention, energy performance and everyday uses, reflecting regional entrepreneurial dynamism.
Among the finalists, the Saint-Martin-based company LEDD Lighting, led by Xavier Chabot, stands out with a hybrid solar lighting solution Designed after Hurricane Irma, and intended to strengthen the energy resilience of island territories, the system relies on… vertical solar panels integrated into existing posts, associated with high capacity batteriesThis technology aims to ensure optimal nighttime autonomy while reducing reliance on the electrical grid. Officially patented in May 2025 after several years of research and development, the solution is now entering the pre-production phase.
The five finalists now benefit from a specific support in order to promote their projects before the grand final, scheduled for February 5thAn event that promises to highlight the energy of change on the scale of the French Antilles and French Guiana.
