
The village square in Orient Bay was packed all last week, and again on the evening of December 23rd. Ti BO Christmas Market, organized by the BO Ti Marché associationmet a resounding successattracting a large and enthusiastic crowd who came to celebrate the holidays in a warm and family-friendly atmosphere. As soon as night fell, the lights, music, and decorations… transformed the heart of the village into a veritable Christmas jewelattracting young and old alike like a magnet.
The highlight of these festive eveningsThe arrival of Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus last Sunday literally delighted the public. Straight out of a Christmas movie, in impeccable costumes and with infectious smiles, they overlooked the square, ringing a bell to gather the children. Santa Claus, mischievously, confessed to having indulged a little too much in prune tart to properly fill out his costume. Throughout the evening, the duo distributed candy and took the time to immortalize each encounter through souvenir photos, in an atmosphere imbued with magic and kindness.
Around them, the stalls set up in the square The event saw a steady stream of visitors. Local crafts were showcased, with a beautiful diversity of creations: artisanal jams, jewelry, candles, decorative objects, accessories, ready-to-wear clothing, and even personalized wooden creations. Many visitors, sometimes drawn by the mere glow of the illuminations, were captivated by the wealth of skills on display, taking the opportunity to treat themselves or find the perfect holiday gift.
