Un rassemblement is being organized in Marigot this Saturday, November 22nd at 17pm at the call of the association Nous Toutes, alongside SAFE Saint-Martin and the Young Wolves collective.
This mobilization is part of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, Sexual and Gender-Based Violence, with the objective of to make visible a reality that is still too often minimized : femicides, patriarchal violence, social discrimination, and institutional failures continue to disproportionately affect women and marginalized people.
The organizers announce a walking time,respects and speeches to recall the scale of the violence, but also the persistence of conflicts, forced displacements and authoritarian excesses which weaken the most vulnerable populations. The demonstration also intends to give a voice to those who can no longer speakor who are unable to do so. The appointment, open to allaims to create a space for solidarity and resistance on the Marigot seafront.
