GOLF: Success and great performances at the 2026 St. Maarten Open | FAXINFO

The 30rd The Saint-Martin Open, organised by the St. Maarten Golf Association on the Mullet Bay course, once again brought together a high-quality international field.

A solid winner at the top
Marlon George, from Antigua, won the overall gross ranking, as he did in 2019 and 2025. Thanks to two well-executed rounds (80 and 82), he won the tournament with a total of 162.
In net, the victory goes to Larry Stott (Anguilla), who scored an excellent 135, decided over the last 9 holes.

Demanding playing conditions
Played over two days (36 holes), the tournament brought together 72 players from across the Caribbean, as well as from Europe and North America. Participants had to contend with varied conditions: wind, sun, and a few showers, making the Mullet Bay course even more challenging.

Tamarins in the spotlight on the Net
While the gross results leave some room for regret, the net performances are particularly satisfying for the Tamarins players:
Anne-Marie Bouillé signs a very beautiful 2rd Gross ranking in the Ladies’ category. Jean-Marc Gréaux wins in Super Seniors 1 (Net).
Several podium finishes complement these results:
Jenny Marzi (2rd Ladies Net)
Pierre Hecker (2rd Men 1 Net)
Laurent Mesguich (2rd Seniors 1 Net)
Louis Assier de Pompignan (2rd Men 2 Net)
These results confirm the club’s positive momentum, particularly in the net rankings.

An unmissable event
Beyond the competition, the SXM Open remains a major event on the regional golf calendar. Its organization, made possible by the involvement of volunteers and the support of partners, also contributes to local initiatives benefiting the community and the sport.
Congratulations to all participants and distinguished players!
Prochain évènement, le Dauphin Telecom Open, samedi 23 mai à Mullet Bay. Plus d’informations à suivre.
