HEALTH: A Christmas of solidarity for the children of the hospital | FAXINFO

Last week the Christmas magic invited herself to Louis Constant Fleming Hospital Centeroffering a bright respite to children hospitalized in pediatrics and in neonatology. Thanks to the mobilization of the associations Lil Hope Pediatrics and Active Maternityand with the support of numerous donors, a forty gifts were given to the young patients, including six babies admitted to the neonatal unit.
In a carefully prepared setting decorated for the holidays, Santa Claus made an appearance The event was eagerly awaited. Smiles, souvenir photos, and tender moments filled the afternoon, watched with emotion by the parents. Games suitable for all ages, snacks, and drinks helped create a warm atmosphere, a welcome change from the usual hospital routine. The new director of the facility, Sébastien Galleyn, was present alongside the teams and volunteers involved in organizing this important event.
Some of the gifts distributed came from the major annual collection “1 Toy 1 Smile”, supported by the Saint-Martin Youth Territorial CouncilThe CTJ members were keen to be present to share this moment with the children and their families, thanking all the donors for their support.
Beyond gifts and activities, this solidarity initiative aims to to offer a moment of joy to children sometimes weakened by illness…while raising awareness among younger generations about civic engagement.
