Great atmosphere at Bellevue stadium last Saturday, where the Archigirls organized their first tournament mixed touch rugby as part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. From 9 a.m. to 18 p.m., near 70 participantsWomen, men and children, came together around the same ball and the same cause: the fight against breast cancer.
All day long, Sport has become intertwined with prevention and well-being.The Archigirls, supported by the Archiball club, had invited several partners, including la Women's House, le Living Museum to create a magnificent fresco on wood, some osteopaths and physiotherapists, and the association Phoenix Flowerchaired by Sofia.Self-examination takes less than four minutes a month to save your life.“If it is detected early, there is every chance of recovery,” she reminded, emphasizing the importance of observation and screening.
Among the professionals present, Emma, osteopath for the Archigirls, explained how his discipline can support women with breast cancer: “Osteopathy helps improve recovery, relieve tension and reconnect with one's body after treatment.”
On the field and around the stands, the good cheer was contagious. The event also attracted new audiences, notably the players of the KKO Beach Tennis, in a wonderful spirit of inter-association cooperation. “Everyone gave it their all. We wanted to combine solidarity and enjoyment, and that's a real success" she rejoiced Fanny, member of the Archigirls.
