In a press release issued this Monday, January 26, the prefecture of Saint-Martin and Saint-Barthélemy is calling for vigilance after two new attempted armed robberies (VAMA) reported in the vicinity of 166, Baie Nettlé Road.
Having been informed of the events that occurred on Sunday night into Monday morning, Prefect Cyrille le Vély decided to reactivate the anti-VAMA deviceThis includes, among other things, an increased police presence on the ground. Residents and visitors are encouraged to avoid this area between 21 p.m. and the end of the nightThe gendarmerie will therefore maintain a reinforced intervention capacity as long as the threat persists.
