Last Wednesday, the magic of Christmas took on a whole new dimension at Hope Estate. For the fourth year in a row, the Handynamique association offered to about fifteen children with disabilities a timeless afternoon, in the heart of the Christmas market, entirely privatized for the occasion.
From 16:30 p.m. to 18 p.m., before opening to the public, the site was reserved exclusively for young beneficiaries of the Sessad, supervised by volunteers from the association. Games, rides and entertainment were offered to them with completely free access.in a safe and peaceful setting, designed to allow them to fully enjoy the event. A snack was also provided, extending this moment of sharing and conviviality.
Laughter quickly filled the room, fueled by the excitement of the children (re)discovering bumper cars, bouncy castles and festive attractionsThe much-anticipated arrival of Santa Claus was a highlight of the afternoon, greeted with a spontaneity and tenderness that recalled the profound meaning of these solidarity initiatives.
This action was made possible thanks to the support and generosity of the HDC Niglo FWI association, organizer of the Hope Estate Christmas Market, which has renewed its commitment to inclusion. Solidarity will continue on December 24th.with a new invitation extended to the children of Handynamique and the orphans of Quartier d’Orléans. The games and rides will once again be reserved for private events, and crepes will be offered, to prolong the Christmas spirit.
Through this approach, Handynamique and its key partners remind us that The magic of the holidays is also measured by the ability to make events accessible to everyone, without distinction, and to place people at the heart of the celebration.. _Vx
