
The sports hall at the Jean-Louis Vanterpool stadium is about to come alive this Sunday December 7 from 8 a.m. on the occasion of the second edition of the inter-company futsal tournament, organized by the Sandy Ground gendarmerie brigade and the CLSG sports associationA sporting, friendly, and above all charitable event, with all proceeds going to the children of the two schools in Sandy Ground. Last year, over €7,500 was raised.
Twelve teams made up of ten players They will compete throughout the day in a spirit of accessible and supportive competition. Registration fees, set at €100 per team, will largely go towards a fund to support the students. This year again, the organizers have chosen to invest directly in the children’s well-being: among the planned activities, a A €100 gift voucher will be offered to the Year 2 students..
The public will also be able to try their luck during a big rafflewith numerous prizes to be won thanks to the support of private partners. refreshment bar and a space of F&B will be available on site to accompany this day of sport and sharing.
The organizers also remind us of a another important appointment : on Friday, December 19, a big special “Christmas holiday” day will be organized for the 450 students of the Sandy Ground schools. Inflatable structures Set up in the parking lot, snacks offered by the brigade… everything is planned to offer children a festive moment on the eve of the school holidays.
