Focused on those in need and with the toolbox at hand, the Compagnons Bâtisseurs association is organizing two solidarity projects focused on decluttering and ensuring safety in residents' homes.

The first construction site will take place this Wednesday, November 8 from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Hameau du Pont, the meeting was set at the Compagnons Bâtisseurs headquarters, residence la Persévérance at 7 a.m. in Friar's Bay. For those who missed this morning's call, the second solidarity project will take place the following Wednesday, November 15, from 7 a.m. to 14 p.m. in Quartier d'Orléans, the meeting this time is set at the local of the Compagnons association, Palmeraies residence in Quartier d'Orléans from 7 a.m. This second solidarity project will serve as a major operation to clean up land and declutter an old home in order to allow a resident of Quartier d'Orléans to return to live in her home. When the latter is emptied and cleaned, the Compagnons Bâtisseurs team will be able to better assess the renovation work to be carried out so that this resident can once again be housed decently and safely. This wonderful solidarity operation is supported by four partner associations: Sandy Ground on the Move Insertion, Aced (Association Against Exclusion and Delinquency), EME (Maintenance and Upkeep Company) and of course, the Compagnons Bâtisseurs who work for more than 5 years in the territory of Saint-Martin for the improvement of housing, the fight against substandard housing, economic integration in the construction sector and the reception of young volunteers. Volunteers are key players in the actions carried out by local associations. No need to be a DIY expert to participate in solidarity projects, you just need to have a good mood, the will and the desire to share your time. Creator of social bonds, the experience is human and unforgettable. Volunteers must wear closed shoes for safety measures.

The atmosphere at each action of the Compagnons Bâtisseurs is known to always be friendly, welcoming and caring. In a world where everything moves very quickly, giving a little of your time to help a family in need generates happiness in both directions. _VX
