La St. Maarten Golf Association (SMGA) proudly represented the island at the annual tournament of the Eastern Caribbean Golf Association, which was held on 4 and 5 2025 October au Royal St. Kitts Golf ClubThis prestigious event brought together competitors from ten countries of the region.
The St-Maarten team, composed of twelve players – including three women, four men, three seniors and two super-seniors – took part in two days of intense competition. The opening ceremony, held at the Government House by the Governor General, honored each delegation.
At the end of the tournament, the St-Maarten men's team distinguished itself by winning the first place in the “low net” category, a great performance hailed by the award ceremony medals during the closing ceremony.
The next day, the players took advantage of their stay to go to the neighboring island of Nevis, where they played a friendly game on the prestigious course of the Four Seasons Golf Resort.
Back in Saint-Martin on Monday evening, the members of the SMGA said to themselves tired but delighted of this enriching and friendly experience.
