SXM Festival announces the opening of sales for the Resident Pass, a rate specially reserved for residents of Saint-Martin and Sint Maarten, for the 9th edition of the festival which will take place from March 18 to 22, 2026.
Since its inception in 2016, the SXM Festival has become one of the Caribbean’s major international music events, attracting visitors from around the world each year. The last edition welcomed participants from 58 different countries, confirming Saint Martin’s role as an international destination for electronic music and cultural tourism. Each year, the SXM Festival mobilizes over 200 employees and partners and collaborates with numerous local businesses in the events, transportation, catering, security, hospitality, and service sectors.
A rate reserved for the local community
To enable the island’s residents to participate in this international event, the SXM Festival offers a Resident Pass at a preferential rate, exclusively reserved for residents of Saint-Martin and Sint Maarten.
Identity Verification Policy: Access to the Resident Pass is, as the name suggests, strictly reserved for verified residents. Resident Pass holders must present official photo identification with address at the entrance to receive their wristband. Access for seasonal workers
Seasonal workers will also be able to benefit from the resident rate by presenting a payslip dated within the last two months, confirming their employment on the island. This measure aims to allow people working temporarily in Saint-Martin to also participate in the event.
