TAXATION / Declarations and payments: a 100% paperless transition from 2026 | FAXINFO

Since January 1st, businesses in Saint-Martin have had to adopt a new, entirely paperless system for their tax obligations.

All tax returns for businesses, sole traders and professionals must be sent exclusively by email at the Public Finance Center, under PDF Format. Paper deposits will no longer be accepted.except for users without internet access or facing a proven material impossibility, who will be able to continue to present themselves at the Concordia treasury.
This first step in modernization aims to simplify the procedures for business leaders and to improve case processing times. In the long term, the Collectivity plans a complete digitization of the territory’s tax information systems.
Another major development: the regulations professional taxes and duties will have to be paid only by bank transferCash and check payments will be permanently excluded, and proof of payment must be attached to the declaration submitted by email. Specific formatting will be required for file and transfer titles to ensure quick and error-free identification of declarations.
Already widely adopted for corporate income tax returns in a spirit of modernization and efficiency of the public tax service, the digital transmission will now extend to all tax obligations, including TGCA declarations, which are among the most frequent.
