Since 2022, the Academy of Trades has been offering a BTS Tourism apprenticeship in the region, a professional training program that concretely meets the needs of the tourism sector.
In a context where tourism is a strategic pillar of economic development in Saint-Martin and beyond, training future professionals is a major challenge. The Academy of Trades is committed to structuring a demanding program that combines academic excellence with professional immersion.
A proven training program
After several successful graduating classes, the Tourism BTS program at the Académie des Métiers now benefits from a solid track record. This experience has allowed the program to refine its curriculum, adapt its teaching methods to real-world situations, and strengthen individualized support for apprentices.
This mark of confidence now allows the Academy of Trades to be an examination center for professional tests, thus avoiding the need for young people to travel to Guadeloupe.
Far from being a project under construction, this is an established, structured and operational training program with a 75% success rate in 2025.
