Scheduled for a effective in the first quarter of 2026The new blue zone will be based on free but time-limited parking, using a parking disc. The maximum permitted duration will be set at 1 hour 30 minutes, between 9am and 18pm, Monday to Saturday.Outside of these hours, as well as on Sundays and public holidays, parking will remain free.
Unlike the previous system, this blue zone will be deliberately concentrated on strategic retail areas in the city center, in particular Rue de la République (22 spaces), Boulevard Hubert Petit (20 spaces) opposite the West Indies Mall, Boulevard de France (63 spaces) on the commercial side, as well as Rue du Général de Gaulle (37 spaces) and Rue du Président Kennedy (24 spaces). This limited area, which may change in the future aims to avoid penalizing residents and employees while strengthening commercial appeal.
