Classes are starting again soon! For some, the start of the school year means a studious and organized return; for others, it's a time of reunion and renewal. Here's a sample of what parents and students are hoping for this 2025 school year.
Noa (college student): Above all, I want to feel comfortable in my clothes. Not liking how I'm dressed on the first day of school would add to my stress. I also made a hair appointment; I want to have good hair. My friends and I will wait in front of the school to go home together. It would be great to have a less busy schedule and finish earlier. Especially on Fridays.
Laurence (sales): I would like my children to get used to school and stop crying when I drop them off in the morning. I also hope that air conditioning will be installed in the school where my children go, in Quartier d'Orléans. Between the sweating and the irritations, they suffer a lot from the heat and the air fans do nothing. I hope this back-to-school will be different!
Anna (middle school student): I've been told there's no more sports at school. My ideal return to school would start like this. Then, a large number of my friends would have to be in my class. My teachers would have to be rather nice. And, finally, we'd have to be served good food in the cafeteria. No more fries!
