SINT MAARTEN/THE NETHERLANDS – Caribbean Business Hub, the network organization with an extra touch, held a meeting on June 27th in the heart of Rotterdam, Manhattan at the river Maas.
Nico de Visser, chairman of Caribbean Business Hub (CBH), welcomed the members and guests and made an appeal to work together and grab the chances in Europe and the Caribbean, according to a press release from CBH.
“The program of the night was light so there was a lot of opportunity to network. The other founders of CBH, Germaine and Corinne Hernandez-Croes, Lionel Martijn and Georgo Müller introduced people to
each other and talked about the possibilities in the Caribbean and The Netherlands.
“There were professionals in transport, entertainment, ICT, healthcare, real estate, investments, politics etc.
“There were also company’s which are active in Cuba, but spreading there business to the Dutch Caribbean. Mister Hubert Maduro, former member of the State Council in the Kingdom of the Netherlands for the member state Aruba, attended the meeting with his wife Maxima Werleman. He stressed the importance of a strong business club in Europe for the Caribbean to make trade easier.
“It was remarkable that the majority of the participants were optimistic about the opportunities in The Netherlands and the Caribbean, like Aruba, Curacao, Bonaire. Sint Maarten and Surinam. Interesting deals were made.
“Entrepreneurs and professionals in the Caribbean, South-America and Holland can become member of this active business club and participate in the next meeting in September and/or network via internet.”
