Detectives request assistance from community regarding armed robbery | SOUALIGA NEWSDAY

SINT MAARTEN (PHILIPSBURG) – Who recognizes these perpetrators of an armed robbery, police are seeking the assistance of the community to find the culprits, authorities said in a Thursday statement.

“On Monday, March 18, 2019, around 11.15 am, in broad daylight, an armed robbery occurred at supermarket 2.3 in the Dutch Quarter district. Three perpetrators, one with a firearm, entered the supermarket and forced some of those present to lie on the floor.

“The perpetrators took the money from the cash register under threat from the firearm. After the raid, the three perpetrators ran away in the direction of the Dutch Quarter.  Have you witnessed the robbery, or do you recognize any of the perpetrators?
