SINT MAARTEN (PHILIPSBURG) – The Management, staff & students & PTA of the Sr. Borgia Elementary School are elated to share the 1st Family Funday of 2019 with you, according to a press release from Sr. Borgia Primary School.
“We understand the importance of continuing to build a relationship with the parents’ / care takers of our students. In order for us to ensure a good balance between education, social and emotional components we are always creating opportunities where this can happen.
“Last Saturday, March 2nd, we were pleasantly surprised by the turn out of our parents, volunteers, friends and family. It was a true celebration of what a Fun Day should be. There were lots of activities for the kids, accompanied by a flea market with goodies that you were not be able to resist.
“We are blessed and can boast of a PTA, that supports and helps us coordinate these types of events throughout the year, “learning is also fun”. It is imperative for our students to always know this. We would also like to thank our Fire Department of St. Maarten for making “rain fall” for the kids, they had an awesome time.
“We would like to thank the sponsors who helped out in one way or another with making the Family Funday become a reality. All waste in place, L.E.T. US N.V., All in one place and Adolphus Richardson Office Supply Store.
“We would like to say a Thank You to all the parents of group 8 who helped out with the Food sale.
