She sees pageantry as a tourism tool and as Saint Martin is a one-pillar economy, highly dependent on tourism, Anna is passionate to help promote her beloved Saint Martin on all auspicious and prestigious pageants stages throughout the world.
Pageantry is not a cheap sport. In fact, it can be quite costly. This is precisely why sponsorship and the involvement of government, Tourist Bureaus, the business and the community at large is so essential. Pageantry is very rewarding as it brings marketing value. It is a very cost effective way to show everything about your country while building networks with brads and other tourism bureaus.
With that, POSH, Learie Hall and the team would like to express a sincere gratitude to the Honorable Minister of Tourism, Economic Affairs, Traffic and Telecommunication, Mr. Stuart Johnson, the Director of the St. Maarten Tourism Bureau, Ms. May-Ling Chun and staff for the immediate response to support this pageant tour. With the same token, gratitude is extended to the Honorable Minister of Education, Culture, Youth and Sports, Mr. Wycliffe Smith and Head of the Culture Department, Ms. Clara Reyes and staff for sponsoring Learie’s cultural wear.
