SINT MAARTEN (POND ISLAND) - TelEm Group is priming its telecommunications networks to prepare for a record demand for mobile and fixed data during the month of April when carnival revelers from all over the world will be on the island to join in the equally historic 50thAnniversary of St. Maarten Carnival.

TelEm Group says it is kicking off the historic Carnival month by offering its customers the chance to purchase data bundles up front so that they don’t have to go scrambling for a top-up during the heat of carnival or any of the other carnival events.

“We don’t want customers to worry at all about running out of data, Minutes or SMS, because we know they will want to capture every moment of Carnival 50 for themselves and also for their friends and families off island,” said Manager, Marketing & Sales, Mrs. Grisha Heyliger.

She said starting Monday, TelEm Group, is launching a brand new MORE Campaign, especially for the Carnival season.

“We are offering all our TelCell prepaid customers a 3in1 bundled package that includes 5GB of data, 50 Minutes voice calls and 50 SMS messages at a 50thanniversary price of $25.00,” said Grisha.

She said prepaid customers who want to take advantage of the offer can do so by sending the simple text “MORE” to “3733”. The package is valid for 30 days and the offer is only open until May 7th– the official final day of Carnival.
