SINT MAARTEN (PHILIPSBURG) – Starting today Monday September 2, St. Maarten radio listeners can now get their two favourite Radio programs live on demand via www.primetimesxm.com, as the hosts of My AM Shine with King Verse and co-host Nzinga Lake, along with the King James Radio Show with James and sidekick DJ King Kembe, have taken their programs to the World Wide Web.
The two shows will also be featured on a new app that would allow listeners to hear and see the programs 24/7. Now listeners will be able to participate in the Beat Da Boom games right from their cellular phones.
The shows are the first radio programs to be aired live on Facebook and can be seen on the new platform www.primetimesxm.com.
The new web-based platform will allow the audience also to see the shows live and will offer more interactive features for the audience.
MY AM Shine airs daily from 7:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. weekly, and the King James Show starts at 10:30 a.m. and ends at 2:00 p.m. The two shows are the only radio programmes on St. Maarten that consistently give the listening audience multiple opportunities to win money for their participation in trivia games such as the famous, “Beat Da Boom.”
The shows first aired on November 19, 2018, and since then the producers behind them managed to build content that made them overnight sensations. On Friday, August 30 was the last day they aired on the radio station MY88. The producers behind the show said Sunday they were grateful for the opportunity to work with the Management of My88.
According to the Producers, “The morning show will continue to be content-driven, keeping the format of a talk show as listeners have grown fond of the Dear Nzinga, Top 8 @ 8, What’s Up on WhatsApp and the daily YES or NO question.”
In the case of the King James Show, the producers have decided to maintain the concept of showcasing some of the latest and greatest music saying its really for people who love music. However, the Trivia Tracks has been a great hit, and this will also continue.
Plans for the shows include live streaming on YouTube to creates a broader reach and producers are presently working on new shows that will be added during the coming months to provide 24-hours of content for the new platform.
The producers and show hosts wish to thank their loyal supporters and sponsors for their continued faith and trust in the program and look forward to adding to the sensational creations for the audience over the coming months.
