Alan was responsible for the regulation of all technology-centric gambling in the Northern Territory of Australia through the 1990s, where he variously oversaw casino and community slot machines, lotteries, remote wagering, and remote gaming. Since then, Alan has specialized in consulting, providing technical input to regulations and associated documentation to regulatory authorities in Alderney, Antigua & Barbuda, Denmark, Isle of Man, Italy, Kahnawáke, Macao, Norfolk Island, Northern Territory, Spain, United Kingdom, and Vanuatu. Alan’s specialism is the formal risk management approach to whole-of-system (people, products, and processes) regulation to ensure methodologies meet the specific needs and objectives
