Harbour View:— On April 3, 2017, His Excellency the Governor of Sint Maarten, drs. E.B. Holiday received the final report regarding the completion of the current William Marlin cabinet.
The Prime Minister has nominated Mrs. Melissa Arrindell-Doncher for appointment as Minister of Tourism, Economic Affairs, Transport, and Telecommunication;
The vetting of the nominated Minister, based on the pertinent regulations regulating the appointment of ministers, has not produced any data that could impede her appointment and swearing-in.
The Governor has scheduled the appointment and swearing-in of the new Minister on Tuesday, April 4, 2017, 11.00 hours, at the Governor’s Office.

Wishing the new minister well. We hope to hear what are her plans to make sure the summer occupancy does not drop. So it would be great to know her short term and long term plans and goals. Lets give her the benefit of the doubt, but time is of the essence
