PHILIPSBURG:---: The Electoral Council would like to remind all 13 political parties that were registered at the Electoral Council in 2017, that the final day to submit the annual reports of the political parties is Tuesday, April 3rd, 2018.
A representative of the Electoral Council will be available to accept the annual reports of the political parties in conference room #4 of the Government Building on Tuesday, April 3rd, from 9am-6pm.
The Electoral Council would like to remind all parties, also those that did not contest the 2018 parliamentary elections, that they are required to submit their annual report as stipulated in article 27 of the National Ordinance on Registration and Finances of Political Parties.
The 2017 annual report should be accompanied by a financial report, with a statement of a certified accountant, as stated in Article 28 of aforementioned National Ordinance. Failure to comply with the National Ordinance on Registration and Finances of Political Parties may result in a penalty being imposed.
